    In my 30-lesson bow arm blueprint, I’ll help you build your bow arm technique correctly, transform your approach to learning cello, and finally feel the confidence to pull rich beautiful sounds.

    WEEK 1 MODULE:

    Beautiful Sound Mechanics

    (7 videos, ~30 minutes each)

    We’re laying the foundation of free and ergonomic bow arm mechanics by exploring what the arm should be doing to create momentum, leverage, weight to create beautiful rich tone.

    WEEK 2 MODULE:

    Seamless String Crossings

    (7 videos, ~30 minutes each)

    We’re taking everything we learned in Week 1 into string crossings week and learning the opening of Bach’s famous G Major Prelude.

    WEEK 3 MODULE:

    Fast Playing

    (7 videos, ~30 minutes each)

    We learn how to develop a short, fast bow stroke without adding any physical tension, and how to pair it with a crisp, sprightly left hand.

    WEEK 4 MODULE:

    Bow Distribution, Musicality, and Shifting

    (9 videos, ~30 minutes each)

    In this very exciting final ‘week’ of 9 days, I’ll be showing you how to sound more musical and expressive as we learn the gorgeous melody of Mendelssohn’s “On Wings of Song!” You’ll learn the nuances needed to create smooth left hand shifts and also discover how simple bow distribution can greatly enhance musicality.

    I’m a professional cellist, online educator, and expert in teaching adult learners.

    I created Bow Arm Bootcamp™ based on my own experience as an adult learner.

    And I developed my own methodology, adapting the incredible knowledge I’d accumulated into something that I was able to translate into consistent technique.

      HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE COURSE?

      You receive lifetime access to all course materials.

      Go at your own pace, double or triple on days, and feel free to go back and review previous days.

      DOES THIS COURSE COVER LEFT HAND TECHNIQUE AT ALL?

      Yes! We will cover left hand concepts like “guitar chords”, shifting, and grouping notes for fast playing.

      But to be clear, most people don’t struggle with the left hand as they do the bow arm.

      So what I’ve included in the Bootcamp are some of the stickier, less obvious aspects of left hand technique that affect bow technique (and making a gorgeous sound).

      WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

      • Any adult learners who are unsatisfied with their sound and need help with bow arm mechanics + technique.

      • Graduates of my beginner cello course: Cello in 30 Days™.

      • Goal-oriented students — While each lesson builds step-by-step, weekly milestones create tangible progress that will keep you motivated.

      • Students who are motivated but need flexibility and/or structure — Many adults find it difficult to schedule time for regular in-person lessons. Bow Arm Bootcamp provides the structure and needed flexibility to take a lesson day or night while sticking to a prescribed program.

      WHEN DOES THE COURSE START AND FINISH?

      The course starts as soon as you enroll and ends whenever you want! It’s all on-demand.

      HOW OFTEN WILL BOW ARM BOOTCAMP™ BE OPEN FOR ENROLLMENT?

      The course opens for enrollment 1-2 times per year.
