Hi there!

If we haven’t officially met or connected online, I’m Billy. Through my online courses, I’ve guided over 1,000 adult cellists worldwide toward playing with greater ease, freedom, and expression.

Eighteen years ago, I started my own cello journey as an adult beginner at 25 — with no prior musical background or education.

Just a dream of expressing myself through the instrument.

Within weeks, I knew I wanted the cello to be more than a hobby — I wanted it to be my life’s work. That decision set me on an unconventional path: Earning a second Bachelor’s in Cello Performance, studying privately with world-class teachers, performing professionally, and eventually building AdultCello.com to help others who, like me, found the cello later in life.
